मधुराष्टकम् :

O Lord Sri Krishna 

अधरम् मधुरम्  वदनम् मधुरम्  

नयनम् मधुरम्  हसितम् मधुरम् ।

हृदयम् मधुरम्  गमनम् मधुरम् 

मधुराधिपतेर खिलम् मधुरम्॥ १

1.1: Your Lips are so Vivacious, Your Face is so Enchanting, Your Eyes are so Hypnotic and Your Laughter is so Joyous,

1.2: Your Heart is so Kind and Your Absence is so Lonely; 

O Lord Krishna. Everything about You is so Sweet and Charming, 

वचनम् मधुरम्  चरितम् मधुरम्  

वसनम् मधुरम्  वलितम् मधुरम् ।

चलितम् मधुरम्  भ्रमितम् मधुरम् 

मधुराधिपतेर खिलम् मधुरम्॥२

2.1: Your Speech is so Articulate, Your Nature is so Positive, Your Garments are so Clean and Your Intoxication is so High,

2.2: Your Walking is so Artistic and Your Dreams are so Realistic; 

O Lord Krishna. Everything about You is so Sweet and Charming, 

वेणु मधुरम्  रेणु मधुरम् 

पाणि मधुरम्  पादौ मधुरम् ।

नृत्यम् मधुरम्  सख्यम् मधुरम् 

मधुराधिपतेर खिलम् मधुरम्॥३

3.1: Your Flute is so Melodious, Your Flowers are so Fragrant, Your Hands are so Charitable and Your Feet are so Sturdy,

3.2: Your Dance is so Artistic and Your Friendship is so Dependable; 

O Lord Krishna Everything about You is so Sweet and Charming, .

गीतम् मधुरम्  पीतम् मधुरम् 

भुक्तम् मधुरम्  सुप्तम् मधुरम् ।

रूपम् मधुरम्   तिलकम् मधुरम् 

मधुराधिपतेर खिलम् मधुरम्॥४

4.1: Your Singing is so Appealing, Your Drinking is so Slow, Your Eating is so Frugal and Your Sleeping is so Relaxed,

4.2: Your Form is so Fabulous and Your Tilak is so Holy; 

O Lord Krishna Everything about You is so Sweet and charming, 

करणम् मधुरम्  तरणम् मधुरम् 

हरणम् मधुरम्  रमणम् मधुरम् ।

वमितम्मधुरम्  शमितम् मधुरम् 

मधुराधिपतेर खिलम् मधुरम्॥५

5.1: Your Acts are so Kind, Your Tunes are so Rhythmic, Your Stealing is so Naughty and Your Love is so Intense

5.2: Your Exuberance is so Limitless and Your Relaxation is so Peaceful; 

O Lord Krishna. Everything about You is so Sweet and Charming, 

गुञ्जा मधुरम्  माला मधुरम् 

यमुना मधुरम्  वीची मधुरम्।

सलिलम् मधुरम्  कमलम् मधुरम् 

मधुराधिपतेर खिलम् मधुरम्॥६

6.1: Your Humming is so Soulstirring, Your Garland is so Fabulous, Your Yamuna is so Vast and Your Yamuna waves are so High.

6.2: Your Yamuna Water is so clean and Your Yamuna Lotus is so Blossomed; 

O Lord Krishna. Everything about You is so Sweet and Charming, 

गोपी मधुरम्  लीला मधुरम्

युक्तम् मधुरम्  मुक्तम् मधुरम् ।

दृष्टम् मधुरम्  शिष्टम् मधुरम् 

मधुराधिपतेर खिलम् मधुरम् ॥७

7.1: Your Gopis are so Vibrant, Your Naughty acts are so Bizarre, Your Company is so Satisfying and Your Moksh is so Heavenly,

7.2: Your Glance is so Romantic, Your Courtesy is so Thoughtful;

O Lord Krishna. Everything about You is so Sweet and Charming, 

गोपम् मधुरम्  गोवाम् मधुरम् 

यष्टिम् मधुरम्  सृष्टिम् मधुरम् ।

दलितम् मधुरम् फलितम् मधुरम् 

मधुराधिपतेर खिलम् मधुरम्॥८

8.1: Your Gopas are so Hardworking, Your Cows are so Motherly, Your Staff is so Loyal and Your Creation is so Divine,

8.2: Your Punishment is so Judicious and Your Reward is so Magnanimous; 

O Lord Krishna, Everything about You is so Sweet and Charming,
