Art of Forgiving & loving

Chetan Bhagat excerpts...
"When I was a kid, my Mom cooked food for us.

One night in particular when she had made dinner after a long hard day's work, Mom placed a plate of subzi and extremely burnt roti in front of my Dad.

I was waiting to see if anyone noticed the burnt roti.

But Dad just ate his roti and asked me how was my day was at school.

I don't remember what I told him that night, but I do remember I heard Mom apologising to Dad for the burnt roti.

And I'll never forget what he said: "Honey, I love burnt roti."

Later that night, I went to kiss Daddy, good night & I asked him if he really liked his roti burnt.

He wrapped me in his arms & said: "Your momma put in a long hard day at work today and she was really tired.

And besides... A burnt roti never hurts anyone but harsh words do!"

"You know beta - life is full of imperfect things... & imperfect  people...

I'M NOT THE BEST & Infact I AM HARDLY GOOD AT ANYTHING!

I forget birthdays & anniversaries just like everyone else.

What I've learnt over the years is :  To Accept Each Others Faults & Choose To Celebrate Relationships"

When & How to eat fruits

Fruit is the reward by flowering plants to animal for dispersal of its seed. The sweet flesh of many fruits is "deliberately" appealing to animals, so that the seeds held within are eaten and "unwittingly" carried away and deposited at a distance from the parent.
http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fruit

FRUIT IS at the top of the our food chain. It is precooked in the sunlight and it needs no further cooking. It easily digested with little acid secretion in our stomach.

After digestion in stomach it straight away enters our intestines for absorption of nutrients.

But it's important to know how and when to eat. IT MEANS NOT EATING FRUITS AFTER YOUR MEALS! FRUITS SHOULD BE EATEN ON AN EMPTY STOMACH

The best time to eat a bounty of fruit is either first thing in the morning on an empty stomach, or as a mid-morning snack - in between breakfast and lunch. It's a good idea, to just eat one type of fruit at one time, whether as whole fruit or fruit salad.

After fruit meal we should wait minimum 1hour before having meal. After a regular meal we should wait 2 hours before taking fruit meal. After heavier fried meals, we need at least 3hours gap before enjoying fruits

If you eat fruit like that, it will play a major role to detoxify your system, supplying you with a great deal of energy for weight loss and other life activities.

Let's say you eat two slices of bread and then a slice of fruit. The slice of fruit is ready to go straight through the stomach into the intestines, but it is prevented from doing so.

In the meantime the whole meal rots and ferments and turns to acid. The minute the fruit comes into contact with the food in the stomach and digestive juices, the entire mass of food begins to spoil.....

If we don't eat the fruit on an empty stomach it mixes with the putrefying food and produces gas and hence we feel bloat!

Greying hair, balding, nervous outburst and dark circles under the eyes all these will *NOT* happen if we take fruits on an empty stomach.

All fruits are alkaline and help reduce acidity in our body. Even citrus fruits like orange and lemon which feel acidic, become alkaline in our body, according to Dr. Herbert Shelton who did research on this matter. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Herbert_M._Shelton

If you have mastered the correct way of eating fruits, you have the Secret of beauty, longevity, health, energy, happiness and normal weight.

When you need to drink fruit juice - drink only* fresh* fruit juice, NOT from the cans. Don't even drink juice that has been heated up. Don't eat cooked fruits because you don't get the nutrients at all. You only get to taste. Cooking destroys all the vitamins.

But eating a whole fruit is better than drinking the juice. If you should drink the juice, drink it mouthful by mouthful slowly, because you must let it mix with your saliva before swallowing it.

You can go on a 3-day fruit fast to cleanse your body. Just eat fruits and drink fruit juice throughout the 3 days and you will be surprised when your friends tell you how radiant you look!

Karanjit Kaur Vohra alias Sunny Leone

@dkgdelhi: Karanjit Leone is guilty U/s IPC292 (I) & IT62 as she makes, direct & produce XXXmovie selling them online in Bharat also.

Her presence in Bharat is perverting young minds, turning them toward watching pornography and choosing it as oversea career like her.

The court should take suo-motto cognisance or social bodies should launch a FIR or criminal suit against her. Her Indiction under both section is clear from commentary given below:

THE LAW ON PORNOGRAPHY IN INDIA

Pornography and Obscenity
The term ‘pornography’ when used in relation to an offence is not defined in any statutes in India but the term ‘obscenity’ has been effectively explained in two statutes in India, and these legislations prescribe that ‘obscenity’ in certain circumstances constitutes an offence.

These legislations are (i) The Indian Penal Code, 1860 (‘IPC’) and (ii) The Information Technology Act, 2000 (‘IT Act’).

Section 292 of the IPC and section 67 of the IT Act, (which corresponds to section 292 of the IPC) explain ‘obscenity’ to mean anything which is lascivious or appeals to the prurient interest or if its effect is to deprave and corrupt persons.

Obscenity as an offence under the Indian Penal Code.
Section 292 of the IPC comprehensively sets out the circumstances in which ‘obscenity’ and / or any ‘obscene’ material is an offence.

According to section 292,

(i) whoever sells, lets to hire, distributes, publicly exhibits or in any manner puts into circulation, or for purposes of sale, hire, distribution, public exhibition or circulation, makes, produces or has in his possession any obscene book, pamphlet, paper, drawing, painting, representation, or figure or any other obscene object whatsoever or

(ii) imports, exports or conveys any obscene object for any of the purposes mentioned in (i) above, or knowing or having reason to believe that such obscene object will be sole, let to hire, distributed or publicly exhibited or in any manner out into circulation, or

(iii) takes part in or receives profits from any business in the course of which he knows or has reason to believe that any such obscene objects are, for any of the purposes mentioned in (i) above, made, produced, purchased, kept, imported, exported, conveyed, publicly exhibited or in any manner put into circulation, or

(iv) advertises or makes known by any means whatsoever that any person is engaged or is ready to engage in any act which is an offence under section 292 or that any such obscene object can be procured from or through any person or

(v) offers or attempts to do any act which is an offence under section 292, is punishable with imprisonment and fine.

Obscenity under the Information Technology Act
Section 67 of the IT Act lays down the law that obscenity is an offence when it is published or transmitted or caused to be published in any electronic form.

The expressions, ‘publishing’ or ‘transmission’ have not been specifically defined under the IT Act, but in Taxmann’s commentary under the IT Act, ‘publishing means making information available to people’.

The commentary also states that ‘transmission’ and not mere possession, of obscene information is an offence. Transmission may be addressed to an intended recipient for his personal use. But that is not relevant. The act of ‘transmission’ is sufficient to constitute an offence under section 67 of the IT Act.

Therefore if any obscene material is published or transmitted in any electronic form it is an offence under section 67 of the IT Act. The provisions of section 67 of the IT Act are therefore similar to section 292 of the IPC where mere possession of the obscene material for ones own personal use may not be construed as on offence, however, it would be advisable to be cognizant of the fact that the prosecution can take a plea of abetment in a case of mere possession.

Although section 292 of the IPC principally deals with obscene material capable of expression in the physical medium such as books, pamphlets, papers, writings, drawings, paintings, representations, and the provisions of section 67 (which correspond to the provisions of section 292 of the IPC as stated above) under the IT Act, deal with computer systems and networks, intangible medium of the internet and electronic communication devices such as the cellular phone handsets, a prosecution can be commenced independently or jointly under both the Acts.

World Environment Day

#WorldEnvironmentDay

Today is World Environment Day. To prevent global warming and save our planet earth let us pledge to beat cost to plant at least one tree per member of our family today.

Only if we plant & nurture at least 5 tree in our life span than only we will be entitled to wood for our cremation.

UN World Environment Day 5June is run by UNEP for raising global awareness to take positive environmental actions to protect nature & planet Earth.

It was setup by UN General Assembly to mark the inauguration of UN conference on Human Environment on 5/6/72. First UN World Environment Day was celebrated in 1973

UN World environment day 2014 is being hosted by Barbados a small Island in North Atlantic focus on 'Small Islands & Climate Change', with official slogan being 'Raise Your Voice Not The Sea Level'

Similarly we should study theme of all previous World Environment day as well available on http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Environment_Day

Pressure Cooker harm

Ayurved Rishi, Vagbhatt Ji says very authentically that while cooking our food should be in contact with air otherwise it will be a slow poison for us.

Currently all of us cook our food mostly in pressure cookers. Old practice of cooking in open earthen container or Brassware with "Kalli coating" is slowly getting extinct.

Storage in refrigerator and cooking in microwave is also not good for health as it cuts air contact of food.

General perception is that cooking in pressure cooker saves times & money spent on cooking fuel.

However we ignore that pressure cooker violates the basic rule of cooking as propagated by all Maharishis of Ayurved including Vagbhatt.

Due to this, the pressure cooker was probably not developed or used in our glorious ancient times.

The longer an item takes to ripen in the field, the longer it will take to cook at home. The quick pressure cooking makes the food useless for our body.

Eating food cooked in pressure cookers is very bad for health. While cooking in pressure cookers the grains, pulses etc. get soft quickly as it gets overheated in high pressure but remain uncooked.

The time & money we save by cooking in pressure cookers will surely be spend by us on curing illness.

In open container, food is in contact with air. As per the design of nature the temperature of water in open container never goes beyond 100degree centigrade as above this temperature the water converts to steam and escapes in atmosphere along with latent heat.

Thus while cooking under normal atmospheric pressure & temperature below 100degree centigrade the softening of our food occurs slowly & simultaneously with the food getting fully cooked.

The food which is properly cooked for a longer time in low temperature & normal pressure gets easily digested in our stomach with secretion of lesser acids saving us from acidity and high acidic levels in our body.

High Acidic level of our blood & other body cells cause negative emotions of anger, greed, lust, jealousy and arrogance.

Mineral and vitamins content in properly digested food are easily absorbed by our body within the small intestine.

Better absorption of minerals and vitamin improves our immunity, health, dynamism, bravery, patriotism, popularity and personal achievement.

After complete digestion and absorption leftover material reach our large intestine without containing any organic matter.

This inorganic excreta doesn't ferment in our large intestine therefore methane & other flatulence gases are not produced. Absence of gastritis lead to absolute happiness, prosperity and contentment.

On the other hand pressure cooker is a tightly sealed container and does not allow contact of air with food and restrict the steam from escaping the container.

The restricted steam increases the pressure within the cooker so much that sometimes it can cause pressure cooker to burst.

The trapping of steam restricts the release of excessive latent heat from the container. Thus, the overall temperature inside the cooker goes up to very high levels much beyond 100 degree centigrade. Under such high pressure the boiling point of water is also raised.

The excessive pressure and temperature buildup in the cooker quickly softens the food in a short duration which is approximately one fourth of the time it normally takes to soften our cereals & pulses in open container.

The softened food in pressure container does not necessarily mean that food is actually cooked & ready for Human consumption.

Cooking is complete not by mere softening but the cooked food should be easily digestible by our body.

Only after proper digestion our body will be able to absorb the vital nutrients like vitamins, minerals etc. from the food & make them available for our body needs.

The uncooked and undigested food of pressure cooker becomes useless for the body thereby causing Diabetes, Bronchitis, TB, Asthma and forty eight other different ailments.

Best utensils for cooking are clay, kaansa and peetal or bronze in that order.

Researchers at the CDRI Lab in Lucknow (a central govt. body) have found that after cooking say Arhar daal in Clay pots we are able to retain hundred percent of the micro nutrients originally present in the daal, ninety three percent are left after cooking in kaansa utensils and eighty seven percent after cooking in peetal or bronze utensils.

Whereas after cooking the same daal in a pressure cooker only thirty one percent of these micro nutrients are absorbable.

Another harm of Pressure cooker is that these are mostly made of Aluminum which is worst metal for storing and cooking food.

Several scientific studies have proved that aluminum content in our food gets deposited in our neurons leading to several neurological problem like Alzheimer's Disease etc.

Aluminum container are banned in most countries of Europe like Germany etc.

Aluminum were compulsory introduced in Bharatiye Jail by the British to subdue our brave freedom fighter.  Even today food is given in Aluminum containers in our Prisons.

We could have produced aluminum thousands of years ago. Our shastras had the techniques, but we used clay pots since it is the best from every angle.

No other natural material other than clay and Gau Mutr contains all the 18 micro nutrients.

Chronic diabetics who started doing all their cooking in clay pots saw that their sugar levels came down from 480 odd to 180 odd in less than a year.

In Jaganath Mandir of Orissa, Parsad Dal is cooked in earthen container. Earthen containers are so pure and cooking is divine in earthen container.

We all know Mithi Handi Dal is not only healthy but also very tasty. Our ancient food science is very relevant even today. 50 years most of us ate foods cooked in Earthen Handi.

Milk and Dal were always cooked in earthen pot. Food cooked in earthen pots becomes more nutritious and can be preserved for a longer period.

Kumhars are very scientific. They should be respected. But due to our apathy & cunningness of the British the kumhars are reduced to backward classes.

The kumhars are so knowledgeable that they can select proper Mithi for the pot as per the usage. In fact, Kumhar respect should be equal to Brahmins.  As they are doing great public service.

Two meals a day upto 5pm is most 'effective' to treat type 2 diabetes & also obesity.

Two meals a day upto 5pm is most 'effective' to treat type 2 diabetes & also obesity.

This age old Ayurvedic & Vagbhatt Rishi dictum is finally proven in a test conducted scientifically at Hospital at Prague

http://m.bbc.com/news/health-27422547

Only eating early breakfast and late lunch may be more effective at managing type 2 diabetes than eating smaller, more regular meals, scientists say.

Researchers in Prague fed two groups of 27 people the same calorie diet spread over two or six meals a day.

They found volunteers who ate two meals a day lost more weight than those who ate six, and their blood sugar dropped.

Experts said the study supported "existing evidence" that fewer, larger meals were the way forward.

Timing important?

Type 2 diabetes occurs when the body does not produce enough of the hormone insulin, which controls the amount of sugar in the blood, meaning blood sugar levels become too high.

If untreated, it can lead to heart disease and stroke, nerve damage, light-sensitive eyes and kidney disease.

About 2.9 million people in the UK are affected by diabetes, 90% of whom have the type 2 form of the disease.

Current advice in the UK recommends three meals a day, with healthy snacks.

Scientists at the Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine in Prague divided a group of 54 volunteers aged 30 to 70 with type 2 diabetes into two groups of 27 people.

Volunteers were then given either a six-meal-a-day diet (A6) for 12 weeks followed by a two-meal day diet (B2), or vice versa.

The study compared two meals with six meals - as the latter accorded with current practice advice in the Czech Republic, researchers said.

Each diet contained on average 1,700 calories a day.

'Very pleasing' result

The B2 group ate between 06:00 and 10:00 and then between 12:00 and 16:00, and the A6 group ate their food throughout the day.

Weight loss for the B2 group averaged 1.4kg (3lb) more than A6, and they lost about 4cm (1.5in) more from their waistlines.

Lead scientist Dr Hana Kahleova, at the Institute for Clinical and Experimental Medicine, said the results were "very pleasing".

She said: "The patients were really afraid they would get hungry in the evening but feelings of hunger were lower as the patients ate until they were satisfied.

"But when they ate six times a day the meals were not leaving them feeling satisfied. It was quite surprising."

Dr Kahleova said the study could apply to people without diabetes who were trying to lose weight.

Dr Richard Elliott, research communications officer at Diabetes UK, said the study added to evidence that eating fewer, larger meals a day could be more effective than smaller, frequent meals at helping people manage their condition.
